SWOP & HARM REDUCTION
At SWOP, harm reduction isn’t a side offering, it’s a foundation. It’s one of the most direct and immediate ways we show up for sex workers in our community. In a world that criminalizes, isolates, and under-resources us, harm reduction is how we take care of each other, without shame, without red tape, and without waiting for someone else to step in.

Every week, we distribute free, life-saving supplies that reflect what our people actually need: Narcan, fentanyl test strips, Plan B, condoms, lube, pregnancy tests, safer use materials, and more.
These items aren’t optional. They’re not extras. They’re part of surviving and staying safer in an environment that too often ignores or punishes our existence.

But harm reduction isn’t just about supplies, it’s about dignity. It’s about accessibility, autonomy, and trust. We don’t believe anyone should have to justify why they need protection or care. We don’t ask invasive questions. We don’t make people jump through hoops. We give what we can because we’ve been there, and because we know how powerful it is to be met with respect instead of judgment.

This is not charity. This is community defense.
This is sex workers protecting sex workers.
And this is what it means to take care, on our terms.
HOW TO ACCESS SUPPLIES
Office Pick-Up
Wednesdays from 1–3 PM and Thursdays from 4-5 PM
Minneapolis office (address provided upon request or contact)

Street Outreach
We deliver supplies directly to street-based sex workers. We also pay stipends to street-based leaders who distribute resources in their own communities, because the people most impacted should also be the most resourced.

Strip Club Outreach
Our club connectors are dancers who bring kits into the clubs, because support should never be out of reach.
OUR COMMUNITY CLOSET
We know that harm reduction isn’t just about Narcan and test strips, it’s also about showing up with the everyday things that help people feel safe, seen, and confident. That’s why we created the SWOP Community Closet, a free resource for all sex workers.

Our closet is stocked with gently used and brand-new items:
Work gear, Lingerie, Everyday clothing (we currently have sizes XS–2X), accessories, brand new makeup and self care items

Everything in the closet is free. Everything is given with care.

There are no limits. No judgment. No requirements. Just a simple message:
Bring what you can. Take what you need.

We believe every sex worker deserves access to clothing and supplies that affirm their identity and support their work, without stigma, cost, or questions. Our closet is one more way we offer tangible care rooted in trust, autonomy, and mutual support.
WANT TO SUPPORT?
If you're not a sex worker but believe in our mission, donating supplies is one of the most tangible ways you can show up. Every item you give goes directly to sex workers in our community, no middlemen, no waste, no performative allyship.

We’re always accepting NEW, unopened items that our people actually use, including:
-
Harm reduction supplies, Hygiene items and Makeup & beauty products
We don’t do throwaway donations or savior complexes. We give with intention and we ask the same from those who support us. If you have items to donate you can use our contact form to schedule a drop-off or pick-up.

Your support helps us do this work with consistency, care, and dignity.
This is how we keep each other alive. This is how we build something real.
